We’ve been working closely with Horizon since 2013. Launching new brands, campaigns, sponsorship programs, locations, and turning their annual Gala into a transformative night.
Goal
Show the expanse of the vision to empower children, youth, and families worldwide while not losing sight of the depth and uniqueness of each individual they are supporting. To accomplish this, we must use multiple films and film styles that integrate with the overall theme and timeline of the evening. Ultimately, the goal was to raise $900k that evening.
Approach
We had the pleasure of sharing Dorice’s story as the culmination of the evening. One of the first children Horizon ever supported. Despite the challenges of her upbringing, Dorice is incredibly generous and is pouring into the lives of the next generation as she now works for Horizon.
Results
Over 600 hundred people fell silent when Dorice’s film played. There were tears of sadness and joy as her story inspired all. To top it off, when the film was finished Dorice walked out onstage with her son Kai to thank all the supporters for making her life possible. On that night alone, over $1,200,000 was raised in support of more stories like hers.
