When Season 2 was kicking off with Hong Kong, Mwita knew he wanted to get on the ground and support with cinematography. It was a remarkable experience in a one-of-a-kind city. Mwita captured many city b-rolls utilizing Time-lapses, Hyper-lapses, Drones, Slow-Motion, and experimentation. Johhny’s reporting is incredibly engaging. Afterward, Mwita created a travel highlight video, “Welcome to Hong Kong,” which can be seen above. We uploaded it to Vimeo…. then two days later, it got selected for a Staff Pick! That's been a goal since starting Mwendo. The channel has been a source of inspiration and motivation. It features some of the most creative and engaging short videos online.
