scope of work

Thirty years ago, Embrex BioDevices invented a process for vaccinating eggs on a massive scale. This allowed chickens to be born immune to the many diseases common in hatcheries a few decades ago. This documentary explores the story behind the remarkable technology and how it has continued to evolve over the years.
GOAL
Take 30 years of history for a technical process and make it relatable and concise.
Approach
We had to immerse ourselves into the company and story to craft and share with a general audience. This started with selecting key persons to interview. We wanted to ensure we had a well-rounded group of interviewees, from founders to scientists to customers, to be able to tell the complete story.
We then crafted the questions to ensure we had the right technical and emotional information mix. After the interviews were recorded, we had to take all the footage from the interviews and craft a narrative that was both informative and compelling.
Results
The result was a documentary that showcased the power of Embrex's technology, the people behind it, and the impact it has had on the poultry industry.
