When ANM approached us about creating a film to showcase their work, we immediately connected with their vision. They don't send foreigners to distant lands—they empower local leaders who already understand their communities. Our challenge was clear: capture this distinct approach through both a 60-minute feature documentary and a concise 60-second brand anthem.
THE CHALLENGE
ANM works in over 100 countries, supporting native missionaries who serve their own communities. But how do you show donors the impact of work happening thousands of miles away? How do you make people feel connected to missions they may never see firsthand?
We needed to find stories that felt both distant and familiar—ones that would transcend physical boundaries while remaining deeply human.
The Films
Documentary: "To The Ends"
After exploring dozens of potential subjects around the globe we found Chandra, a pastor and missionary serving in Bali alongside his family. His story embodied everything ANM represents: authentic local leadership creating lasting change. Through spiritual mentorship, education, and medical outreach, he brings hope to his community.
We spent two weeks immersed in Chandra's world—not as observers but as companions. We followed him through everyday moments, ministry outreach, and quiet reflections.
What began as a 20-minute documentary evolved into a feature-length film. The depth of Chandra's story demanded more time, more detail, and more space to breathe.
Brand Anthem: "Eternal Impact"
In conjunction with the documentary, we also created a 60-second brand anthem that would capture ANM's global vision.
While the documentary in depth to one story, the anthem needed to show the full breadth of the entire organization—showcasing native missionaries across many countries and cultures. The anthem required concise, powerful language that would resonate with viewers immediately and emphasizes our shared humanity.
We highlighted the unique approach of native missionaries who "already speak the language, understand the culture, and live in the mission field." Each frame needed to communicate both the vastness of the mission and the personal connection that makes it effective.
THE IMPACT
Together, these films create a complete picture of ANM's work. The brand anthem serves as an entry point—a quick, powerful introduction perfect for social media and digital platforms. The documentary provides the immersive experience that turns interest into commitment.
This strategic pairing allows ANM to meet audiences where they are. Someone who watches the brand anthem online might be moved to attend a screening of the documentary. Someone deeply impacted by the documentary has a shareable asset in the brand anthem.
Both films reveal ANM's unique approach through authentic storytelling, creating emotional connections that statistics and explanations never could.

Our vision for distribution centers on these complementary strengths. The brand anthem drives online engagement and awareness, while the documentary fosters deeper connection through shared viewing experiences—theater screenings, church events, and festival showings.
