During one of our last weeks in Tanzania, we decided to spend a few days in Moshi to catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. We are so glad we did!

Driving into Moshi that afternoon, the clouds had already covered to mountain, leaving the peak unseen. The next morning we looked out from our balcony, and there it was in all it's glory! A magical snow covered peak amongst the lush vegetation of Tanzania. It was magical!

One of the highlights of our time there was meeting Oscar, a local organic coffee farmer. His coffee farm has been in his family for generations, and they still make coffee the same way, just like his great grandfather had always done it.

We saw the whole process from the beans on the trees to the final product, and let me tell you, it was the best cup of coffee we had ever tasted! Smooth and rich, like the finest cup of espresso, and he made it right there over and open fire.

If you are ever in Tanzania go get one of the best cups of coffee on the planet from oscar.njau@gmail.com, and visit the beautiful Materuni waterfalls! Thank you to Frank of Kiliheroes for showing us around.
